I used these chips for baking and they were exactly what I expected. Nestle's is a good brand and one of the main brands I use for baking purposes. The flavor of butterscotch chips is exactly as you'd expect. They're the same size as the chocolate chips.

These have a strong butterscotch flavor. The sugar quality in them is a bit on the low side but that's true for most candy-type products of this price level. I used them to make Oatmeal Scotchies, and I've also just snacked on the chips. I would buy again. I think the Oatmeal Scotchie recipe could use a bit less sugar than directed if you don't like overly sweet deserts. I will try reducing the sugar content of the cookies by 1/3 in the next batch. I also went with half butterscotch chips and half semi-sweet chocolate chips. The cookies were all eaten in under 24 hours!

It does have a waxy texture. But otherwise great for baking, mealting as a drizzle and so much more

Can't make seven layer bars without them, well, unless I could find some more of the kroger branded caramel ones...

I know, I know, these are for baking. And I buy them to have on hand for that purpose. But they never last long enough to bake anything with them! My alter eats them up in the middle of the night!
