Beautiful

Although I haven't put my 5-Tier Strawberry planter into action yet I am quite excited to plant some strawberry's. I'm not sure July in PA is a good time to start planting them so I just may have to wait until next season. I do have to say that I am totally impressed with the shipping; I received the item the next day after ordering. I did put it together just to see how it would look and I do like that it takes more space vertically than horizontally and will fit nicely on my deck.
Sun resistant

This is my second one, not replacing, adding to. Left the other one out all summer and winterand it still hooks up. Other brands get brittle in the sun or fade, but not mr stacky.
Summer fun for the deck

Great planter. I just finished planting all our plants in it with my 10 year old. So fun! It's well made and looks great on our deck. Can't wait to have strawberries, cukes, herbs, and some beautiful flowers all summer!
Solid purchase so far. Time will tell more.

I bought one for myself and another for my mother along with 2 sets of 20 bare roots Everbearing Ozark Beauty Strawberry Plants. Mom and I are both fairly new to gardening, but our plants are flowering and look healthy, and we both love how they look.

I haven't had any trouble with it falling over even though I have nothing anchoring it. It seems fairly sturdy when well-watered, and we have seen some good winds here since I set it up and my toddler regularly pokes at it.

I'm really wondering how this will hold up next year, since in my experience a lot of plastic containers will break down and become brittle with the weather. If it holds together well, I'll probably get more next year!

5/3/2017 update: I have 3-6 strawberries growing per plant! Unfortunately, my mom's strawberry plants died, though after discussion, we realized she had both been moving it inside/outside with the cold and keeping it in the shade, so both factors may have contributed to their demise. Dad loves the look of it though and they're both excited to have learned from the experience and try again another time. Also my toddler did pull off the top layer once. However, I was able to easily stick the freed dirt/plants back and place and no harm seems to have come from their little adventure.

5/13/2017: update: I'm harvesting strawberries every 3 days and collecting ~8 strawberries each time. They're mostly smallish, but it's an ever-bearing variety, so no surprise there. They are more tart than expected for the variety. Research suggests it might be a spacing issue, but on examination several of the "pots" appear low on soil, so I'll fix that and hopefully get sweeter strawberries moving forward. Handy thing about this container is I could easily move the whole thing into the cage with my blueberry bushes, protecting it from birds, rabbits, and other wildlife. Though tart, we are definitely enjoying them.
Ugly color, not at pictured

This planter is way smaller than I expected. and it is NOT a terracotta color. It is more like traffic cone orange. I wanted to return it but I needed to get my strawberries in the ground before they died. I plan on spray painting it after the season is over.
