First off, let me say I'm a "true dipper" have been chewing Skoal Wintergreen for 17 years. I went through a can a day before I decided to stop.
I've been "chew free" for two weeks now. By chewing Nicotine Gum and using the Jerky in the can I have managed to survive this long and feel like a million bucks. I decided to go with this Snuff for the days where I really needed my "Nic friend." Got the package in the mail today and immediately knew I'd be addicted to this when I tasted it! It's all natural and actually helps heal your gums so I don't feel bad for popping one in. There is strangely a mild euphoric sensation when I put it in my lip, but not sure if there's an ingredient that's causing it or if it's a placebo. I have tried chewing gum and hard candy, neither gave me the "kick" that this does (again, it's very mild but pleasing.) This has got to be the best investment purchase I've ever made on Amazon. I haven't noticed any ill side effects except a slight crash ten minutes in to chewing it. I suppose this has something to do with my system not getting the nicotine it's expecting. Other than that, I highly recommend it. This will help you quit! It's worth it! I'm back to feeling like my old self. No more heartburn, no more fatigue. I feel twenty years younger. DO IT! If I can stop, you can too! You won't regret it!

I have been a dipper going on 25 years I am 42 years of age I tried a couple of times to quit it's hard when you have dipped for so long and have a permanent pocket in your mouth where the dip goes , so far I have been mixing it with my regular dip 50 / 50 since this is my first week I did try a pinch by it's self to see what I was getting into, to say the least it's kinda sweet ,sticky and has plenty of flavor , my goal is to get tobacco free , so if your intent is the same I would recommend this product for those who are trying to quit ..best of luck to all of those who read..

Didn't want to admit it, but it grows on you fast and really works! Almost completely tobacco free after less than a week! I'll stick with it!

So I've been chewing 5 cans of Skoal a week for the past 15 years. I tried quitting using nicotine gum and all that did was make me sick. I figured I would try this stuff in combination with the nicotine patch to see if I could quit chewing.

So far it has worked like a charm. This stuff is pretty close to the real thing. And, when combined with the nicotine patch (in my case 2 21 mg patches) there is no perceptible difference between chewing Skoal and this stuff.

So far I have been off chew for 7 weeks and haven't cheated once. I've been dropping my patches by 7 mg every 3-4 weeks with no withdrawal symptoms whatsoever. The patches ensure I don't have actual PHYSICAL withdrawals (which...when chewing almost a can a day...can really mess you up) and the Smokey Mountain Snuff fills that psychological need to put in a chew during certain "trigger" situations (after eating, taking a dump, at the shooting range, etc.).

Thank you Smokey Mountain. The texture, flavor and "feeling" of this stuff is legit. Ya'll may have saved my life.

6/14/18 - Still chew free and now I only grab a chew from a Smokey Mountain can every other day or so. When my buddies chew around me now, the smell of actual Skoal or Cope smells horrible to me. I'm amazed I used to put that stuff in my mouth.

This is the best herbal I've tried. No, its not as good as the real thing. Nothing ever is. But its flavor and texture is good. The flavor doesn't last as long as tobacco's does, but if you're trying herbal, I'd have to recommend this one.
