I bought the "like new" addition via Amazon Warehouse which put this as a fair 5$ price point. Some nights it works, others it looks like a well done craft project. For what I paid, eh.

I purchased two of these for a new handrail I installed.They worked well for awhile and one actually still does but one petered out in about 5 months. I'll probably replace both to keep them matching but I'll go with a different manufacturer this time. I did replace the battery and checked the contacts BTW...no luck.

I have purchased quite a few of these and they all have turned yellow within six months to a year and yet my neighbor has the same type of light I'm sure made from a different company because hers are all great white sterile. I was going to just to let the folks out there know that this is not a proper product to be selling at all. It definitely is and inferior product ...........tonyM

Purchased 9 of these all worked when I installed them in an area of full sun. Short story--within one week only five still work.
As you can see, I've reviewed this product before. So, during a recent storm that damaged two, I purchased three to fix the two. And, one didn't work. The story here is if you want two to work than buy three; if you need four than buy six; if you need six than buy nine; if you need eight buy 12. IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THE PATTERN--SIMPLY, 50 PERCENT OF THESE LIGHTS ARE NOT GOING TO WORK. Thus, while this is a good product you have to understand that 50% of the items simply are not going to work. So, buy the (they are great) and return all the one's that don't work (50%) at the seller's expense.

I would give them five stars but they came with bad batteries. They worked fine the first night but no more. I figured there was something wrong with the light's solar charger but decided to switch batteries with other lights I have that use rechargeable AA's. And I put the two batteries that came in these lights in my old lights. That night the new lights worked and the old didn't. Hmmm, who'd have thought, brand new rechargeable batteries that don't recharge.
