works well to tape HVAC ducks. Have used it six months ago and it is still working. Better than tape found in big box stores that cost much more.
Best tape currently manufactured, better than duct tape.

As an eagle scout and civil engineer I use tape for random uses around the house, work or in Mcgyver-esque applications. To distinguish, this is a non-aluminum, mylar type material tape. You can use this for almost any task at hand and in my educated and tested opinion this is better than standard duct tape, which says a lot. It is violently sticky and very strong. A roll lasts almost forever. I've been in conditions where a buddy uses some duct tape to fasten paper to plywood or steel and the duct tape peels away. I unwrap my 3350 and do what the duct tape can't do, time and time again. I use a small LED flashlight (Fenix) and wrap a coil of 3350 around the light (about 10' length) which gives me any use for the tape I can dream up. Hard to find in stores for some reason. Try this stuff I think you'll love it.
This tape is great!

I bought this tape at one of the big box stores because it was needed urgently. In repairing our AC ductwork, initially we used the metal foil tape that has a backing that must be peeled off. It did not stick well to old dusty ductwork and was awkward to use. This tape is GREAT! It is more flexible, sticks better and is much easier to apply. It is great to seal the seams when you wrap the ductwork with roll insulation. It is also great for repairing tears in the insulation or the ductwork itself. We also used it to tape down the vapor barrier in our crawlspace in a couple of places. We saw non of the issues that other reviewers saw. It was very sticky and easy to use. I will recommend it to everyone.
