Very pretty. The color is more wine than red. The bottom looks much darker, but it's just a trick of the light. If you put it up to the light, it's all the same color. I have a fabric shower curtain liner behind it, but the curtain still gets very wet. A plastic liner would be better. Some reviewers mentioned that it stained their tub, so I washed it in cool water first, then hung it to dry. No staining so far. The wrinkles ironed out easily.

I returned this shower curtain only because it didn't match my decor. Otherwise it's well made and very pretty!!

Absolutely beautiful!!! i paired this with the Gold Carnation Shower Curtain. However beware as this shower curtain isnt Red its more like a dark red wine color. I had a hard time finding bathroom rugs to match. I had originally ordered the chilli pepper red Garland rugs that comes up when Amazon loads related products. do not buy these rugs as they are two totally different color reds. i had to return the rugs and almost returned the shower curtain as well as i was having a hard time finding rugs to match until i went into my local walmart. They have a wineish color rug that exactly matches this shower curtain called. Crimson Victory color. i bought 2 of these for my bathroom in a size 20x34. i wrote this so that the next person wouldnt have a hard time finding rugs to match. I almost ordered some gold rugs but i wanted red rugs and gold accessories. which i ended up getting the gold accessories from lnt.

This curtain is the very epitome of the world L-U-S-H (and I don't mean in the hot mess kinda way). The curtain is a deep, almost cranberry color. The image here is very close to the shade, only instead of being a rich, dark red, it has more plummy undertones (don't get me wrong, it doesn't make the curtain purple, only... as I said, sort of a cranberry-ish color). The bead work on the front of the curtain gives it a very Mediterranean vibe. It doesn't look hand stitched, but it does make the curtain look expensive (like it's very "quality").

The shimmer of the material at the bottom is different, of course, from the material used at either the top or the mid center of the curtain. It's a very light material (all the way around) and billows with steam away from the side of my tub, so you might consider using something to help anchor it (or a liner, at the very least).

I have received so many compliments on this curtain, I would never buy another brand and the purchase was so easy, I'd never consider another source when it comes to purchase! Do yourself a favor and buy this RIGHT NOW! Your bathroom'll thank you! (;
