Pillow case is too short for the pillow.

Pillow case should be quite a bit longer than the pillow itself in order to stay closed. When the pillow case is exactly the same size as the pillow, it opens at the end and uncovers part of the pillow as you move in your sleep. I didn't even bother checking whether it shrunk to even smaller when I washed it.

This was a wise purchase as standard pillowcases would not fit the buckwheat pillow correctly. This could have been a tad longer, as the pillow is usually trying to escape the end of the case, which is not pleasing to the eye. The case is made of nice, quality material and seems sturdily stitched.

This size works great for me. Easy to carry and change pillow cases. The queen sized version my wife uses is very difficult to change cases.
Ended up pulling a quart of buckwheat out of the zippered case to fit my head/neck situation. Sometimes I use it for under my knees or arms too.
Makes a great accent pillow on the bed too.

These pillow cases are perfect for my sobakawa pillows.

These pillow cases are perfect. The fabric is smooth, silky, and soft to the touch. They are also made very well and they fit my new sobakawa pillows perfectly. I especially like the inside flap at the opening which tucks around the pillow so it can't slide out of the pillowcase. The seams are uniform and overcast with no loose threads or sloppy stitching. As a seamstress I really appreciate fine workmanship. I have used buckwheat pillows for about fifteen years now and won't use anything else. I take one with me when I travel.

Perfect fit for my personal buckwheat hull pillow. Super smooth, high thread count cotton. I already had the King size pillow case as I got the opportunity to evaluate it at a discount --I loved it and wanted all my pillows to have these cases so I bought more. I was sick of using a twin size pillow case on this personal sized pillow and the excess pillow case drove me mad! I still wish that they made sheets; as I'd love to sleep on such smooth and well made linens.
