This is my 1st time using this compost and so far, so good.
Its a better value than all the tomatoe advertise fertilizers.

Much more versatile than advertised tomato fertilizers without the risk of burning feeder roots and the NPK is more subtly balance than most spike fertilizers since this can also be applied to shrubs/berries and dwarf trees directly and combining it with worm castings/tea you will be guaranteed to gain huge yields of flowers and fruits and nuts and berries and young sprigs but just a better universal use that i prefer instead of buying up to 4-5+ NPK specific fertilizers for certain plants since this packs better pound to pound ratio value out of the market but NPK is not all that important but actually the soil PH levels of the specific plants that your growing in matters the most and determines on how comfortable those specific plant's root will efficiently absorb the nutrients and soil matter that you mix into prior before establishing the species of that plant into native ground/container
It works for me

First of all I feel guilty buying this compost on line. First the carbon footprint of the shipping and second the price isn't cheap. I know I could easily make my own compost. That said it did wonders for my peonies, Artichokes, Roses and anything else I put it on. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area so mild if non existent winter especially the last 5 years. I mounded this stuff on my dormant plants last fall and gave them all another couple of hand fulls troweled in this spring and wow. Obviously many more blooms than ever. So I'm ordering more......my latest guilty pleasure.

I was reluctant to handle composting products thinking that they may have bad odors. This product doesn't have any unpleasant odor. I used it for my vegetable garden and so far my new plants are doing well.
Excellent compost

I really like this. I use it to make compost tea. It's expensive but worth the extra cost.
