Frustrated

Good news is it's together and came with all of its parts. It came in a crate on a pallet, so that was all great. My frustration is that the main 4 bolts that fasten the legs to the jack, were extremely difficult to thread. I actually, had to sand/grind slightly taper the bolts to get them to start without cross threading.

I haven't been able to put the jack under a load yet, but everything else seems to work as advertised.
Great Quality

We replaced one of our worn out jacks with this one and I can not stress enough how much easier installing transmission is with this product. The full tilt design made install a one man job. Assembly was very simple. Great quality product from a professionals point of view...
Pissed I didn't buy this earlier

Really worth every penny. I should hand bought 2 years ago when it was $100 less
Has worked great for over 3 years, too bad it is now almost double the price.

Bought this back in 2019. Why we are not a commercial shop, we do a lot of car repairs and race car builds and this has paid for itself many times over. We use it not only for transmissions, but for dropping/installing fuel tanks, subframes, exhaust systems and even to pick up the suspension corners when torquing rubber bushings. The tie down chains are a little cheesy, but do the job. Other wise the unit is very, very solid. With no weight, lowering the cylinder can be slow, but not a big deal. It has been 100% reliable. Too bad the price has literally doubled since 2019 so I would say it is not as good of a value as it used to be. In fact you can get a pneumatic version for about the same money now, go figure.
This thing is built like a tank

Overall, I am very impressed with this absolute unit of a transmission jack. I had done some searching in the sub-$500 range and everything looked cheap and had mixed reviews so I splurged for this beast and hoped for the best.

This thing ships in a wooden crate and if coming from Amazon, they arrange the delivery and it all worked out great- they even placed the crate just inside my shop door. The item is packed well enough that all the inside bits aren't destroyed.

The assembly instructions are brief and refer to an exploded diagram (as opposed to a specific image for each step), but I was able to work through the whole thing in under 30min without having to backtrack and change anything. The black legs on this thing, I would almost think they are built out of trailer hitch tubing- they are stout.

I had my car up on the lift, brought the jack up to height, adjusted the red-leg-keepers and the chain, lifted it a bit , took the last bolts out and then was able to sloooowly bring the transmission down (you can go fast too, but the first few inches are a bit tentative when you don't know if there is something still stuck somewhere and it is nice to creep a bit until you're all clear).

I would definitely buy again and if you need one of these and don't mind the spend, I would definitely suggest you give this jack a try.
