had a pair of these chestnut bad boys since xmas 2012, and only just recently had to get new ones. theyve been amazing ever since i first got them, aside from the flattening of the wool and thinning of the skin on the shoe, theyre solid shoes. build extremely well with warmth and confort in mind, layered extremely well. after 4.5 years of ownership the soles had not worn out one bit

the only bad thing i have to say about these shoes is that after wearing them 6+ months out of the year, then dealing with the lake tahoe winter 2016-2017 on top of that, my right shoe developed a hole near the toe. thats it!

ive had these for almost 5 years and for the moccasin skin to break and be thinned out this long into owning them, really is a testament to their value & quality

Seeing some of the recent reviews here, I'm not sure of the quality has gone down or they were a bad batch, but I have had my pair for 4 years now and they are still holding up just fine. 4 years of normal outdoor wear and, outside of a few scuffs and water spots, they still look like they did out of the box. The insoles are getting a little flat, but luckily they are replaceable.

Anyway, reviewing the slippers...I love them. I had never owned a pair of moccasins before, but after buying these as an impulse, I wear them constantly. Outside of rain/snow or sub-zero temperatures, these are my go to shoes once the weather turns chilly. This style is cut low enough on your foot that they don't look like regular bedroom slippers, but yet remain amazingly cozy. Also, before you slip these on, take off your socks and forget about them; the wool lining is designed to be worn around bare feet. It wicks away any moisture while still keeping your feet warm. When the temperature drops below freezing, even though I'm wearing them barefoot my toes are still nice and toasty.

You might want to get some waterproofing for them though so the suede doesn't get damaged or discolored.

When this pair finally wears out, I will definitely be buying another pair of these moccasins. I was never one to wear slippers before, but these Uggs have made me a fan.

I read all the reviews about how small they were fitting. So I ordered a size or so too big. They are like pontoons. I didn't like them I'm not wearing them. They are super heavy and not that comfortable. If Walmart sold some big enough, I would rather have those cheap ass ones than these Just sayin. These are just on my back porch with all my trashed out work shoes. That's what I get for buying crap online instead of the stores. I totally love my Ugg "Olsen" moccasins! They're extremely well-made and durable, as well as uber-soft, warm and comfortable - perfect for cool spring, fall and winter days. I find Ugg moccasins to be made true to street shoe size, although I know some Ugg buyers prefer to opt for the next size up due to the thick sheepskin linings. (And they are quite thick!) I wear my Ugg moccasins as casual shoes rather than as house slippers, and they work perfectly for that purpose. I don't wear my Uggs outside in wet weather, but provided the conditions are dry, I wear them quite frequently out and about, even when the temperatures are well south of freezing. I never have cold feet in these Uggs, even without socks on (which is definitely the way to best enjoy them). Highly recommended for all moccasin fans who want to wear their favorite footwear year-round. Ugg moccasins rule!

For some reason, I have wanted a pair of UGG slippers for a few years now. As a guy, I always get made fun of for that. But I don't care. When I had the opportunity to buy these I didn't hesitate. For as much as I hyped these up to people and to myself, I was surprised that I was not let down! It was like walking on air. I love my slippers. I would wear them everywhere if I could but I don't want to get them ruined so I just wear them around my house. I would say there gets to a point where I need to take them off after wearing them for awhile, but I can wear them the whole day on and off. Im so happy I bought these.
