Love these mugs!!! I was looking for rustic but elegant and these are it!!! They are a great hearty mug for winter!! The mugs were packaged great to avoid damage while in transit. The only draw back is I wish the handle was less chunky, to give my fingers more room! For anyone considering, please know that the specs are navy blue, not black. I was going back and forth on the navy blue with white specs or what I thought was white with black specs, so I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and found the white mug with navy specs. I'll update after we use them.

Just amazing and beyond expectation. Very high quality ceramic and glaze. Shipped with each one carefully packaged individually.

These are really good mugs. We discovered these at Tony Packo's restaurant in Toledo, Ohio and bought one for souvenir. We liked it so well we searched and found the same on Amazon and purposes 8 of them. Just a bit pricey though. But, they are nice and good.

I love these mugs and was glad to find them again on Amazon. But initially there were some bugs in the Amazon packing and distribution channel, and the mugs were shipped loose (!) in a box. I ordered 12, and 9 arrived broken. I ordered again and 8 arrived broken. Then the vendor wrote me a personal email saying they fixed their packaging problem with Amazon, so I ordered a third time. It worked! Each cup was in its own box, and they arrived in perfect condition. So now they can be reliably ordered on Amazon.

On another note: regarding people who say that the mugs don't retain heat. No offense, but that is a naive observation. In fact, the mugs are excellent at retaining heat, but you have to pre-heat them (30 seconds in the microwave does it.) These mugs are massive and hold a lot of heat (they have high "heat capacity.") When you put hot coffee into a cold mug, the mug absorbs heat from the coffee; this is what the one-star reviewers are experiencing. However, if you pre-heat the mug (20-30 seconds in the microwave is good,) then the heat capacity works in your favor: the warm mug protects the coffee from heat loss to the surrounding air.

Most mugs that keep your coffee warm will work this way. Their initial heating must come from something other than the hot coffee. Hence, the microwave.

Any thin cup will lose heat to the surrounding air. It is the thin cups that cool your coffee quickly.

15oz size is great. Most mugs too small. Very well built and helps hold the heat.
