I am a fan of Hustle Butter Delux! HB was suggested to me after my last piece of work. I used the 1 oz container after about a week and bought the 5 oz container for continued use during the healing process.
HB smells great and soaks into the skin after a while.
Con: shipping this product in the mail means that it will heat up and the mixture won't be the same as it was when it was initially poured. I had to mix it up with my fingers to make the consistency smooth enough to put on my healing skin.

After getting some new ink I tried some of the plain drug store variety lotions but they burned so much on a new tattoo (most have different types of alcohol in them, so that was obviously the problem).
Hustle butter is lovely. It smells amazing and gently melts with your body heat to smooth over your tattoo. I also noticed very minimal scabbing when I switched to this, and it definitely helps bring out vibrant colors. A little goes a long way with this stuff!

This stuff is amazing! I pretty much never leave reviews for anything, but I bought a little sample pack of this when I got my most recent tattoo and fell completely in love. It smells *amazing* and I adore that it's all natural. It's jam-packed with excellent ingredients and it's so silky in texture. A much better alternative to most products out there! My artist said I'd only need the sample size for my small piece, but I just had to pick up the full sized jar. I not only continue to use it on my tattoo, but also as body butter! My skin is soo soft (even at the elbows) and my tattoo still looks brand new 2 months on. A little bit goes a long way too so it should last for a long time, although I'll have no problem repurchasing!

This stuff is amazing! I thought it was a bit overpriced when I was looking at tattoo aftercare. I've always hated using petroleum based products and Aquaphor because of the gross feeling it would leave on my skin. But this stuff is so different. It smells absolutely fantastic and it doesn't leave your skin feeling gross. I wish I had heard of this stuff before. Will continue to purchase for more tattoos down the road. I've used aquaphor and curel and I can't say enough good things about this product. I'm having a large forearm piece done and ordered this via prime. In less than 24 hours during the healing process (multiple applications) the tattoo and my skin feel has changed dramatically. Leathery feel between applications is gone. This is going to be my "go to" going forward for sure!
