i have bought several colors from this place and all of them were the real thing, HOWEVER the black velvet i received is a fake! i compared it to the one i got off the LC website and the others i got, it is completely fake. there's no rose on the top the font is off, the inside of the top is white and not clear like the real ones! i want my money back for this. i don't get it???

Not sure if I just received a defective batch or if it's the formula for the colors but compared to my other lime crime velvetine that I love (Bleached), these ones were incredibly runny, streaky, and didn't want to apply or dry quite right. I'm so disappointed because I had such a positive experience with my Bleached velvetine and was hoping for the same awesome, thin-but-not-runny formula in these two pretty colors. I've compared the Two Moods velvetines (purple and light pink) to my Bleached one in the pictures. Not sure if you can tell by the pictures but the textures are completely different (Bleached is creamier, opaque, dried nicely and applied smoothly while the Two Moods velvetines were watery, patchy, difficult to apply evenly, and didn't want to dry). I'm heartbroken. Really wanted to love this set because of the value and cute colors but unless mine were from a bad batch then the formula for these two is awful. :(

Extremely disappointed. After thorough research I've come to find the "Lime Crime Velvetine" in the shade Salem I received was fake. There is no logo on the lid, there is no batch number on the tube, it has the worlds smallest doe foot applicator, the formula is complete crap - not opaque, comes off in minutes, smears, gets all over your teeth, crumbles excessively and cracks as well. I cannot believe I wasted my money on this garbage.

Love this color! I can apply without looking because of the shade. Perfect for everyday wear! Beautiful natural looking shade on my lips! Same issues with the flaking while eating or drinking, but it's easier to apply so it doesn't bother me. Still gets on teeth. Just make sure you have a mirror and you wait until the coat is dry to move your lips. It might need reapplication with eating or drinking and it slightly crumbles when you apply a second coat. It could just be my dry weather here in Arizona. Just use a clear coat to wake it up. I don't care though the color is so freakin' gorgeous. I have gotten used to applying this color and it is worth the wait of letting it dry. My secret to applying this color flawlessly is using a lip brush and outlining my lips with the color like you would with a lip liner and then filling in with the color. You can use a lip liner as well. I just was having a hard time finding an exact matching shade for awhile so that's how I was tiding myself over and it worked. But this is the most beautiful shade of grey/beige. It's supposed to imitate the texture and look of a rose petal. I think the color is absolutely stunning on any skin tone!

I am in love with this lipstick..is it me or does it smell delicious...not only that it glides on wet and smooth and dries in a beautiful matte..I love it!!ðŸ‘ðŸ¾ðŸ‘ðŸ¾
