Purchased this after the filter that was in my dryer caught on some clothes and ripped to pieces. We had been dealing with snagged and damaged clothes for a while. Purchased this and also noticed that deep inside the compartment was a broken/misaligned piece of plastic. Straightened that out and problem solved. No more damaged clothes!

The lower review is not the screens fault. This is a good product, it is that the dryer design is flawed in that it causes the edges on my lint filter to break which causes it to destroy clothes.

seamlessly slipped the old one out and put the new one in. fit like a champ and is working fine . I especially liked that when I purchased it, Amazon helped me check it for compatibility by having me enter my dryer model number! overall a very positive experience.

I bought this for my parent's lint filter for their 3-year Kenmore Connect dryer. I was worried it wouldn't fit and took a chance on ordering it because it has the same shape as the Kenmore filter. I received the filter today and initially, it did not fit all the way down. I noticed there was a lot of lint stuck inside, so I removed it with whatever tool I had at the moment, which was a long stick back scratcher. I was able to remove the lint and to my surprise, the LG filter fit exactly in the hole. So far this product is a 5 star. Hopefully, it'll last"‹ and won't snap off on the top like it did with our old filter.

Had to replace the old one that was cracked. It looked a bit off in the picture so I thought I would have to return it. It fit perfectly. Fast shipping. Would definitely recommend this product and buyer.
