Good shave, but doesn't last.

This is a very nice disposable. It shaves close and comfortable, but it does not last as long as my Mach3 disposables. I get about 2 weeks out of a Mach3, but the Shick feels dull after about a week. Keep in mind that I'm not a big fan of 5-blade razors in general. I think their thinner blades shave very close and comfortable at first, but then dull quicker than the Mach3, which is my favorite all-around razor. That's it.

Probably the best razors I've tried. I've used several different electric shavers, straight razors, DE's, Gillette Fusion, and various disposables. The Schick's gave me the smoothest and easiest shave out of everything. The design of this razor helps prevent skin pinches and cuts and has moisturizers built in I believe. I keep mine lasting extra long by dipping these in rubbing alcohol before storing them in a drawer. Helps disinfect and dry them (this does destroy the moisturizer part a bit, but doesn't bother me). I'm still using the first one after months and still works pretty well. Cheaper than Gillette too! I'm Schick fan now.

Can not comment on flip up trimmer because I haven't had a chance to use it yet! I have used the Hydro 5 Razor for about a year or so and find them to be of high quality and they do provide an excellent close shave. I have a pack delivered by Amazon Prime every two months and they seem to last between three and four weeks per razor with my beard, which I consider to be heavy. I also like the shape of the handle and the lubricated blades which shaves close without irritation of my skin.

I signed up for Dollar Shave Club, which sucked. Then Harry's, which sucked. And I ended up coming back to my trusty Schick Hydro disposables. I really prefer the women's, but the men's is usually cheaper (<_<). Women's get a 5, men's get a 3. They work better when the plastic on the tip stays in place. Once it starts flipping back, the shave isn't as smooth, and neither is the glide.

The absolutely shaving best razors I have used over time, and I have tried a whole bunch of different types and styles.
Gives a very close, smooth shave.
Lightweight with a very comfortable handle.
You can nick or cut yourself if you are in a rush and are not careful.
Great for shaving not only one's face, but also for shaving one's head ... love the bald look!
