These laces are true to length and feel every bit as tough as advertised. They stay laced, even if loosely tied, and are slightly moldable, so it's easy to twist the laces out of the way to keep them from flopping around. My only gripe is the laces had a dark, slightly tacky residue on them that rubbed on my shoes and fingers. This wasn't an issue on my work boots, but I wouldn't want it on white high tops.

My hunting and hiking boot laces are always breaking. So I tried the iron lace bootlaces and they are truely indestructible. My malinois puppies got ahold of them - like literally going to town chewing on them. and I figured I'd be buying another pair. Literally these furry alligators can chew thru thick leather like it's butter but the laces are perfectly fine!! Very impressed! Highly recommend!!
