Just what I needed to put my sunglasses in while trail riding. When I ride in and out of the trees I need a safe place to store my sunglasses yet handy to grab them when I'm back in the sun. Built well and stays in place. You could also put a snack in there too as it's big enough for an apple or a couple protein bars with my sunglsses.

I'm not sure if it's how my saddle is made and how it fits my horse, but when this bag is mounted on the front of the pommel, as it is supposed to be, it's smooshed between the pommel and my horses' withers, not allowing for easy access to the bag and making it difficult to store or access items inside it. I may try to mount it facing in toward the seat of my saddle to see if that works any better. It is very well made bag but I was just hoping for a little more ease of use.

I hate packs on my saddle, but I also hate buying new cellphones because I dropped mine off a horse into a creek. These first world problems are crippling, I know.
However, I must say, I am VERY pleased with this little pack. It is just big enough to hold the monster phones we carry nowadays as well as my keys or dog leash. It doesn't fling itself around while cantering (as all the rest seem to), but just stays right where it should in front of my saddle pommel. Downside: if you get red as I did (because I wanted to see it if I happened to drop it somehow), and your horse sweats (as mine does), it will soon start turning....not red. I haven't tried washing it.
All in all, very pleased!

Got this for the pommel of my endurance saddle. It stays put and doesn't bounce. Plenty of room for small items. It would be better if it had dual zipper heads so that I wouldn't have to unzip all the way to the side. Several small items have fallen out on the trail.

This item is very small but I can't complain because Amazon took it back without any hassles. One reviewer had mentioned that they could get a sandwich and water bottle in it and I can't imagine how they did that. It might hold a small camera or cell phone but that's about all the space it has in it.
