Goody's Extra Strength Fast Pain Relief Powder is amazing stuff. I had never even heard of it until a family member suggested it about a year ago and now I never leave home without a packet in my purse. Each dose is individually packed into a nice plastic pouch with a tear off top. They are so handy and compact that you can take them just about anywhere with you. There are three flavors: original, orange and berry. I would highly recommend the flavored ones as the original is bitter! Personally, I think that the orange and berry are still bitter but you get used to it after a while and now I can take them without making "the face." Goody's powder works so much faster than taking a headache pill. I've actually stopped taking my migraine pills and will reach for one of these packs right away at the onset of a migraine and they have worked like a charm for me - without the side effects. Goody's also works pretty good for hangovers and gives you a little bit of energy from the caffeine if you've had a late night. Love this stuff!

Goody's get a bad name but are the best at relieving hangover or stress/tension headaches. I am very careful not to over use and abuse them. But When it comes to a headache this is my go-to medicine. The sweet flavor helps if you don't have water, but I often take these with a soda style drink vs water since they are powdery. That's just my preference, when soda is available.

The orange flavor is so much better than the "Original Goody's" any day of the week! The convenient individual wrapped packs make it SUPER easy to carry without having to worry with the mess, much like you get with the original paper wrappers. The wrapper is a little hard to get into but not impossible. I've included an image of what the packs look like for reference.

I recommend anyone that's tired of choking down the original Goody's to give the flavored Goody's a try! I see that they come in both Orange and Berry.

I have recently been using the Goody's Mixed Fruit Blast and decided to give the Cool Orange flavor a try.
I suffer from migraines but am able to keep them at bay if I take something non-prescription as soon as I feel even the slightest of headaches coming on. The Goody's works noticeably faster for me in relieving my headaches and preventing them from turning into something more debilitating.
My usual pain reliever is Extra Strength Excedrin but I was surprised to find that the Extra Strength Goody's has a stronger dose of both acetaminophen and aspirin compared to Excedrin:

Extra Strength Goody's
Acetaminophen 325 mg
Aspirin 500 mg
Caffeine 65 mg

Extra Strength Excedrin
Acetaminophen 250 mg
Aspirin 250 mg
Caffeine 65 mg

The extra strength Goody's is stronger and works faster for me.
As for the taste? The Cool Orange is ok - not exactly sweet but no bitterness at all. I can take these alone with no need to have water on hand - a real plus for traveling, as are the individual foil packets.
My only complaint is that the packets are a bit difficult to tear open so you may want to have a small scissors close by. Otherwise, the powder itself works great and makes up for any complaints on the packaging.
My personal taste preference is the Mixed Fruit but this is just as effective and something I will keep on hand.

I tend to get stress related headaches on a consistent basis. When the current OTC medicine that I was taking decided to stop working for me, I decided to switch to Goody's Cool Orange Powder. I have taken Goody's in the past and back then, they always worked well for me and my headaches. I stopped taking them a few years back (stopped getting headaches), but decided to try them again when I started to get these headaches again. The orange flavor is actually REALLY tasty, and NOT at all like the Original Goody's powder (which tastes disgusting & is unbearable for me). I will be buying more of these Cool Orange powders if they continue to work for me. Also loved the fact that I was not sent an old product & a box that was expiring soon-the box I received expires in 2019. I have only taken this product twice so far, and will update if anything changes. But for now, it works great for my headaches.

These little packets of just the right stuff are a great item to have on hand. My husband suffers from tooth pain a lot. He is a truck driver and doesn't have the ability to just live with his pain for a bit. He can not just pullover to take something. I bought him these and they have been a godsend for him on the road. He can just grab a handy little packet from his visor and continue on his way. You don't even need water to take them, that is what makes them so convenient also. He just pours it in his mouth and swishes it around a bit before swallowing it. It does have a taste, but not that bad. He says he likes the taste. Works for a variety of ailments. My son in law, (also a driver) gets headaches. So I bought him some too for his overnight bag. Both of them have been so happy to have them with them at all times.
