This item did not work, I did not realize it was broken until I used it which was more than 3 weeks after the purchase. :( The lights do not even come on.
Waste of money, barely any fog on either one purchased

It barely has any fog coming out of it at all. I ordered 2 of them and they are both the same way. I let them run for 10-15 minutes but still nothing. The automated Amazon did tell me I could not return them but when I contacted Amazon they did issue me a refund.
Lights & mister died within 5 months

I ordered 2 of these. The lights on the 1st one worked 4 months and the mister for 5 months. I am installing the 2nd one today but I'm not feeling encouraged about it since the 1st one didn't perform well. changing these is not a project I want to have to do every few months.
This replacement unit works until you use the wrong types of fragrances...

My original unit burned out after using fragrances that caused deposit build up, and then the unit burned out. I bought this replacement with better working knowledge of what fragrances not to use, and which ones are okay UNTIL I used a different scent...and of course, the until burned out. This unit did worked better then the original unit the lamp came with, brighter lights & better misting for aroma disbursement. I am buying another one because (again...pilot error) I used a new fragrance, and of course...it's not compatible, and the unit burned out. This item is only $7 now...what's to complain about? It keeps my living room humidified, and smells great; masking the smokey smell that comes out of our fireplace. It gives us personalize great aroma therapy, and the lights are nice to look at. Lessons learned...if the fragrance you choose has an alcohol base or the oils are too thick...it will cause the unit to burn out...personal experience.

DO NOT GET THIS!!! Pay the extra couple of bucks for another one!!! This was delivered on 11/12/2016 and it is now 11/23/2016 and while the lights still work it not longer makes the mist. Of course this isn't a "prime" piece so it's not eligible for their wonderful return process. If this cost more then I would be upset. Just don't waste your time or money. You'll get that just ordered something happy feeling and be utterly disappointed you even bothered.
