If you want to replace the factory Toyota alternator with a higher amp common GM 12si alternator this where you start. The brackets are well made and bolt on. This is a well made product.

Worked well, but at least for an 81-84 engine block the lower bracket needs an additional spacer for one hole. I just stacked a bunch of washers as a temporary fix, but know that it doesn't quite just bolt up.

had overcharging problems with stock alternator bought this mount and a 105 Amp Delco Marine Alternator Mercruiser 1-Wire alternator. fixed all my problems.
