Great marking gauge

Most people complain that you can't see the markings well guess what you can't see the markings on the veritas either. So unless you want to spend $200 on a Rob Cosman marking gauge this one works great.
Made in China, not in the USA

I found this company to be very misleading in their marketing. This product is made in China, not in the USA like it comes across. Although it says, "Made in the same factory as our WoodRiver hand planes"... yeah, in China. The product you can tell is not made with the same quality and attention as it should be.

Fantastic marking gauge. I tried the cheaper models and they always seemed to have something wrong. Like the one that was bent or the one where the screw extended past the cutting wheel. Those always felt flimsy and weak. This one has heft to it. It feels solid and good in the hand. Plus, it does a really good job.Love this and wish I would have just bought this from the get to, and saved myself some time.

Very high quality, wonderfully beautiful unit. If you value craftsmanship not only in your work, but your tools as well, and I'd assume if you're looking at this thing, you do, it's worth the price.
