Look great but after running our work van through a carwash a couple of times, the paint totally peeled.

These were fine, until they cracked one, from hitting too hard. You will not believe the time I had , the day I set out to buy some others.
They not only cracked one, but smashed another. I went to Walmart to purchase new ones. They did not sell the plastic, nor did they put them on. So I went to another store. They didn't have my size. Went on to a third store, they didn't put them on or have my size. Went to the last store in town. They didn't put them on. I was getting so upset an the guy at the register knew it. I just kept talking to him, to find out if he knew of anyone that could help me. Maybe in the next town. As I was talking a guy walked up to the register. He said I have put on a few, maybe I can help you. He said the reason they don't put them on, is because they crack, break, an split. But he got them on for me. I was beginning to wonder if I was ever going to get news ones. When they cracked one, an smashed the other, we couldn't buy just two. Had to buy all four. So now you know about plastic hubs. They upset me bad.

I was apprehensive because I was buying "blind" so to speak. They arrived in one box with each wrapped with a thin plastic cover, adequate for their shipment. They fit, looked better than exposed, rusty lug nuts and were priced fairly. The cost-to-value was good.

I am truly surprised and please. These hub cap covers were delivered quickly. They installed quickly too. Read the instruction on the shipping box. Yep, that what I said, installation instructions are printed on the box not on a paper in the box. Pay attention to the adjustment of the metal retaining ring. If the hub cap cover does not snap in by leaning on it or pushing it in, adjust the metal band. Removing the metal band and using pliers to shape the U shaped dip in the band is best. To make it slip on easier, make the U side more of a right angle than sloped. The tabs will break if you pound them in or hit them hard. Once you get these you will see what I mean. It is simple. They look nice and have held up to nasty pot holes and bad weather here in the east. I had to contact the company for a problem I had and customer service was quick to respond to emails and worked with me to my satisfaction.

Not the best quality, but very cheap and if you refrain from just waking it with a rubber mallet to install one it ought to be sturdy enough to last a few years. This sits very flat to the wheel, and the tire sidewall will scrape the curb before this wheel cover does so it ought to stay looking decent through its entire life as long as the dealer refrains from using a rubber mallet or wrecking bar on it. They stay in place pretty snug once seated fully but can be removed without tools. Installation is easy with two hands and no tools if you pay a little attention to lining it up and seating it evenly all the way around.
