4ucycling Mens Fleeced Windstopper Cycling Pants for Casual Outdoor and Multi Sports Black

Key features
- •Double-layer synthetic material (75% polyester) in the front, which gives the pants a unique water repellent quality without being too clingy or tight. This offers the athlete more flexibility in mobility.
- •Breathable material on the back, which is composed of 85% polyester 15% spandex. Engineered to offer the athlete extra comfort levels through exceptional padding and cushioning. The improved aeration is quintessential in preventing excessive sweating during rigorous training sessions.
- •Thermo-lined fleece interior. Useful for prevention of loss of heat from the body, even under extreme wintry or snowy conditions. The thermal retention capabilities of these pants are also enhanced by the draping design in the knee area.
- •Zippered pockets with sturdily built zips on each side coupled with easy to adjust leg openings. This gives the athletes the much-needed flexibility around the knee area.
- •Reflective logo on the left. Improves the visibility of the athlete under low or poor lighting conditions. Integrated as a safety standard for professional and fitness cyclists.

Practical and presentable

Read the other reviews regarding fit / size. I'm about 5'10" 175 lbs (177 cm, 80 kg), 33 or 34 inch (84 cm) waist, 30 inch (76 cm) inseam. I bought XL and the waist and length are perfect. I've wore these around the house for an hour, and I've one 30 mile ride, and two 10 mile work commute rides in them on subfreezing 30 F (-2 C) windy weather days. These aren't form fitting spandex type bike pants, nor are they loose sweat or warm up pants. There's a sort of quilted insulated lining - just enough to add warmth, but not so much that you'll be sweating on frosty days. They're a loose enough that I could wear running tights or long underwear underneath if I was going to be out in 0F (-18C) weather. There are zip slash pockets, which comfortably held some currency, ID and debit cards. The zip openings at the legs are gusseted, but open sufficiently to go over boots, or a probably to put them on or take them off without removing bike shoes (I wouldn't, You could, but why?). There is some difference between the fabric on the front and the fabric on the back, making the front a little more wind resistant than the back, but not visibly so. I expect I'll be buying a second pair of these - not for biking, but for windy chilly days when I'm working on the beach. They're good for biking, probably for xc skiing. They'd probably not be good for sitting in a stadium or on a ski lift. I wish they had some reflective material or accent near the knees for bike commuting, but I'm sure that would add to the dork factor that middle age men already have on bikes - and might not appeal to the rest of the consumers.
Great deal; perfect for nordic skiing or cool weather biking.

Have used these for xc skiing and snowshoeing. Very functional and comfortable; warm enough at 16 degrees F, but not too warm for an active workout in slightly above freezing temps. Good wind resistance without holding in too much sweat. As others have said, pay attention to the size chart and read reviews to see what someone roughly your own height and weight bought because it is not typical American sizing. I am 5' 10'' and about 170 lbs, typically buy pants with 33" or 34" waist and 32" inseam. For me the XL is a good, slightly loose fit. I could probably shorten the length of the legs by an inch or more for a better fit, but I seem to have slightly shorter legs than average for my size. Loose-cut articulated knees might look a little baggy, but allow freedom of motion and are a plus.
Excellent pants for winter hiking!

I read the other customer reviews carefully before purchasing these pants, which I intended to use for winter hiking in the Catskill Mountains of New York. While the pants were designed for hiking, many of the reviewers noted that they were excellent for many outdoor activities in the winter, including hiking. They were absolutely correct. These are the best wintertime hiking pants that I have ever purchased. They are remarkably comfortable. I used them three days ago on a 6.6-mile hike in 15-degree weather, gaining approximately 2,000 feet of elevation. They kept me warm and dry, and they flexed in a way that kept me comfortable throughout an arduous, icy hike.
Those who enjoy hiking in the winter should definitely purchase these pants.

These fit GREAT!! I'm 5'9" about 190lbs the XL perfect! Just enough room for base layers and plenty of mobility!
The length is perfect!
Time will tell how well they gold up but I'm pretty impressed so far!
They look great and are extremely comfortable!
I'll be buying another pair if these hold up!!

I ordered the 3XL ones the first time around and they were a little big on me (I'm 6' 190lbs). I returned them because the pockets were so poorly sewn that one was just a hole... however they immediately refunded me and I liked the feel enough that I thought I would try again. I ordered the size smaller 2XL, came in much better. Sewing was quality done, and to answer the waterproof/resistant question I added a photo, as you can see, repels water extremely well.
