Bought this for my 20 yr old younger brother. He lives the hell out of this machete! Hes into tactical stuff and says the quality of the piece is real nice. It's got a nice weight to it and the handle is comfortable, it has a strap to wrap around your wrist in case you let it go it wont go flying. It came with a thick sterdy holdster and the packaging came in nicely, would definitely order again!
It feels like it has a plastic coat on the cutting edge ...

Unable to get an "edge" on the blade. It feels like it has a plastic coat on the cutting edge and even with a file I'm getting nowhere. I'm going to have to put it on my neighbor's grinder.

Sturdy and well made machete. Complaints - flimsy box looks like it was in a demo derby and a shoulder strap would be beneficial as the machete is too large to wear on a belt.
