Great value and really worth it for comfort

This makes the public defender so much easier to grip, I haven't fired it yet, but I'm very confident that it'll be much more comfortable. That being said, you lose whatever concealability with the extra inch or so. Perfect as a truck gun.

This Pachmayr Diamond Pro Grip is a little wider with good grooves for all the fingers which provides a lot better grip. To me, it really makes the Public Defender point truer at the target.The Pro grip is not that much longer and I was more than glad to give up the short original grip that came on the revolver. When you change the grip, you will find that the Pro Grip will go on tight, so don't give up. A couple of good hits with the palm of your hand will get it on just fine. I used a 7/64 hex for the screw on mine. As others have said, this should be the grip that comes on the Public Defender.

I put these on my Judge public defender and was going to test fire them out at the farm range. Well while walking to the range ol Mr snake decided he didn't like us in his area and got mad. So I drew on him and fired I used to have to aim low with the old grips because of the recoil. So I did with these boy was I surprised when it hit where I was aiming right in front of ol Mr snake needless to say this agrivated him more and he started to come after usbut I had it down now so I took aim and as Mr snake was charging intent on ending my life he was sent to wherever snakes go when you shoot them with a good ol snake charming .410 #8 shot. Bottom line these grips are great for tameing recoil on these handcannons .
Excellent grip for Taurus Judge 4510 with steel frame

I am extremely happy with this new grip for my Taurus Judge 4510. The original grip was ok but this Pachmayr grip is way much better. It is not bulky so it does not affect the concealment aspect. The grip is almost a perfect macth for all my 5 fingers. The price is a steal. It is also very easy to install. And once its installed, it is firmly held in place by that single bolt. No loose grip here.

I ordered this for the metal frame Public Defender in the hopes of a more comfortable, secure grip. I am very happy! The extra inch or so in length is just enough to allow my pinky finger to rest comfortably, allowing the middle and ring fingers to comfortable maintain my natural grip. This is significantly wider than the original, but not uncomfortably so for me. The size difference did not have a significant impact on overall concealibility. It was an easy swap, literally 1 Allen screw, start to finish, less than 2 minutes, and that's being generous. I can't wait to see any differences during live fire. I will recommend to others!
