Not a bad starter drill press for the DIYer

The Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 8" drill press is a decent value for the price conscious buyer who is not looking for NASA quality precision for their projects. Un-packing and set-up is quite simple and quick with relatively easy to understand instructions. The light makes it easier to align your work for drilling. The table is significantly off perpendicular to the drill post. However, you can compensate by holding it up will tightening it in place. Over all not a bad value for the DIYer who is not looking for a high degree of precision.
