so i really had to put personal feelings aside here. the concept for these are very strait forward and a very good idea. i own a gun locker (not to be confused with safe) with 2 pistols. i wanted to store the pistols below the lone shelf my locker has. these things are so long that it was not possible to use as advertised. maybe in a gun safe this would fit properly, i dont know. if i was ok with keeping them out in the open somewhere im sure these would work great also, but that wasnt my intentions. So even though they didnt work for me, in the right situation, they would be very good!
Two small issues, otherwise good to go.

My safe has been getting a little tight on space, so I thought I would give these Gun Hangers a try. Overall I am happy with them. I give them four stars for two reasons. First, they are not strong enough to support my Ruger Vaquero. The pistol droops the hanger to the point where the pistol will slide back off the hanger. Second, I wish they had at least on side that would fit a .22 barrel. Even with those two little issues I am happy with the Gun Hangers, and have no regrets about buying them. I think they are a good product for a good price.
Work OK if you are not using often.

Got these as 4 of them were cheaper than one where I bought my safe. I was a bit disappointed as they don't hold to the shelves to which they are attached. I keep one near the door opening for very fast access and the other three to hold very small pistols. When I pull the gun out the hanger comes along with the gun. Only a small portion of the hanger makes contact with the bottom side of the shelf which lets it slip. (Bending does not fix the issues as the area that contacts the front of the shelf would need to be completely redone which would probably ruin the item.)
Not sure how I would like these with a larger pistol. They work OK if you are just using for long tern storage and need some space.

These are an excellent product for the price. They are designed to slip onto a 3/4" inch or other flat shelf and the plastic coated rod then used to hang your handgun by the barrel. It will work with any caliber or size handgun (except maybe a .22 or .25, I'm not sure) A closet shelf, wooden desktop, table top, gun safe shelf, etc.
I dropped my review by one star because I do find that a full sized, fully loaded hand gun will lower the angle of the rod overtime and every few months the rod needs to be bent back to a straight orientation. Maybe a slightly stronger steel would solve this issue.
Overall, a good product for the money.
Of course it is imperative that it is used in a way that keeps little hands and the inexperienced away from your gun. This does not lock, secure or create a safety for any firearm.
