Not sure what definition of Slow sinking they use but this thing sinks pretty fast to me. However it is life like with good swimming action. Stripers love this lure. So do catfish I caught two cats over 40lbs with it before the Rockfish tore it apart. I managed to land several Stripers form 18 to 53 inches with it trolling the Potomac river below the 301 beidge.
