product frozen with all lights on, returned it.

This pedal did not work when it arrived. All lights were frozen on. Upon looking up the product in the TC Electronics forum, I found that many have been talking about this issue for years and TC Electronics has still never resolved it. I do not recommend this product. I originally, had a much longer review of my experience, but Amazon flagged it for not following the guidelines for some reason.
Not reliable. Bricks itself randomly. Will not recover anymore. Only a year old. Never used out.

It's a great pedal. In theory. And it sounds great. But it is not something that you can count on.
Mine just went all green for the second time. Miraculously I was able to recover it the first time. But tonight it is gone. I followed the instructions and a firmware update would seem like the prescribed thing to do. If the stupid pedal would respond. But no. All green. Won't talk to the computer. It's about a year old. Read around. I'm not the only one. Just type "Ditto X4 all green LEDs". This product has been on the market for some time. This is unacceptable. If I had been performing live. I'd have been done. I already talked my friend into not getting one. it's maddening. Get a Boss and you'll be better off I suspect.
Wanted to love it, but has significant problems.

The functions and features are excellent. However, my device is buggy. It frequently pauses and skips while using"“ very problematic during a performance. Most recently, I turned it on and all the lights were stuck on and it was completely unresponsive. I've tried all the repair suggestions online and nothing.

I love this pedal when it works, but the problems have been really unfortunate. I'm sending it in for warranty repair and if the repair is successful I will update this review.
Frustrating experience, zero help from manufacturer

I was excited about this, so much that the first time it broke I sent it back and got another. But it broke again after 2 months of occasional use. This model is a piece of crap. If I could at least get TC Electronic to actually reply to my service request I will consider modifying this review, but for now I'm frustrating with both the product and the company. =/
Works great for me!

This little pedal is exactly as advertised! Totally dig it. I stuck it at the very end of my pedal board after all of my overdrive and modulation effects pedals, and I'm very impressed so far. Exact replication of whatever I feed it. And I like the fact that it has plenty of head room/volume. You can adjust the mix against what you're playing on top of the recorded track on the Ditto very easily. It would be nice if it had a dedicated "Stop" button that you just needed to tap once, but if they built that in, it would be twice the size, so I get it.

So far I'm mostly using it for at home practicing. Record a rhythm track using the Ditto, then solo over it as many times as I want. So helpful!!! Starting to dabble with using it live. Gotta make sure the timing is locked in with the drummer. Gonna take some practicing, but it is nice to have my backing rhythm guitar track going while I solo over it.........just makes everything sound fuller and more musical. TC Electronics has really been impressing me lately. In about 3 months I've gone to zero TC Elec pedals to now 3 (Flashback mini, Polytune mini, and Ditto mini). Very happy with all of them!
