I got a box as a gift since I enjoy baking. I really did not know how big of a difference high quality cocoa powder would make. These are the best brownies I have ever had and I am never going back. This is my second box since I went through the first so quickly. Only drawback is that it is pricier, but if you're baking for a special occasion, I think this is worth the splurge.

Exceptional cocoa. Much more intensely flavoured than other cocoas. You only need a little, so perhaps buying a 6 pack was a bit excessive, but if you like cocoa, you HAVE to try this one. It is ridiculously expensive but I actually think it is worth paying the extra. After using this cocoa, other cocoas seem kind of lacking in flavour.
Life is too short for mediocre Chocolate! Try this and fall in LOVE.

Are you a chocolate connoisseur?? I am. I am a chocoholic who has found true love..with Valrhona cocoa. I will never cheat on you Valrhona, never again with those cheap, flat store bought cocoas. I will love you until I die. Our first kiss was unforgettable. You are deep, dark, luscious, full figured and so rich. I love you on my truffles, and in my cup of hot cocoa. I love your rich scent and colour. You are my everything.
But seriously, this is the best cocoa powder I have come across in my chocolate adventures. It is creamy and dense with a good fat content, rich in flavor, aroma and color. It is so good that it stands alone...yes, I can eat it straight out of the container. It makes the best cup of hot chocolate that I have ever had. Willy Wonka would be jealous. I don't think that I will ever use grocery store cocoa again. This cocoa erased my memory of all that came before. It must be true love. Life is too short...give this one a try.

Since the pandemic, I haven't been able to find my old favorite cocoa powder (Scharffen Berger Natural Unsweetened Cocoa Powder) at any of the local grocery stores. When I resorted to searching Amazon, I decided to try Valrhona Pure Cocoa Powder instead. This cocoa powder is rich and flavorful and my brownies (Vegan Gluten Free Black Bean Brownies recipe by the Minimalist Baker) turned out super delicious. This cocoa powder was more expensive than my old favorite, but I got my money's worth and I will buy it again.
