Great entry level unicycle!
DavidDecember 17, 2017
Pros:
-Great construction quality
-Arrived in perfect condition (with some assembly required)
-Smooth comfortable ride
Cons:
-Nothing so far, other than being difficult to ride (this thing is tall!).

I started learning on this unicycle and it has been one of the most difficult learning experiences I've had. I would recommend starting on a smaller size if you are inexperienced. I am about average height (5'11") and I still have to set the seat to its lowest height for me to be able to reach the pedals comfortably.

If you are just starting like me I would recommend going to a tennis court during the week when it's empty and practice there. It's a nice smooth surface and you can use the fence to help get you up and peddle alongside it until you're able to do it on your own. Also, lowering your tire pressure will give you some extra stability while practicing.

One assembly tip I can give you is to be careful tightening the bearing clamps. Too loose is obviously bad, but too tight will create a lot of resistance and make it hard to pedal. I would tighten them slowly (switching back and forth between each bolt) until they are snug and then do a test spin with the seat on the ground to make sure the wheel spins freely.
It’s nice and durable and I’m still learning

I love his unicycle
Coming from a guy who actually rides a lot (not just learning), read this.

I am very particular when it comes to unicycles. I have ridden a 20 inch TorkerLX, a 26 inch Nimbus, and 24 inch Chinese piece of junk. This unicycle has knocked them all out of the park.

The first and most important thing I noticed is how comfortable the seat is. Nimbus unicycles are over twice the price of this one before shipping and the seats are brutally hard. They are leather though, but they are as comfortable as sitting on a rock. The seat on this unicycle is very very cushioned and well sized, giving perfect support and comfort while maintaining controlability. I had no issues with it being too curved like someone else said in the reviews.

Second thing I will attest to is the build quality of the unicycle. Everything feels just as solid as my friend's Nimbus. The construction is almost the same, only difference is his frame meets in a T shape where this is like an upside down U. The welds are very nice and the frame feels rigid and strong. The seat clamp holds everything in place very well and is easy to adjust as needed. The tire it came with is actually (surprisingly) very good quality. It is not just a cheap knockoff piece of rubber slapped on there like many other unicycles in this price range. Mine came with a tire that is perfect for road use while still maintaining grip on hardpack trails. The pedals are fairly cheap but they get the job done and they have not had any issues yet. Only thing I noticed is when my feet get muddy they don't stick well, so maybe some metal pedals are in order.

The rim, wheel, bearings, and cranks of this unicycle are just as well made as the ones on my torker or the nimbus and have had no issues with bending or cracking. That being said, this unicycle is NOT made for tricks, drops, etc. I primarily use this unicycle for cruising around places and it will last forever at that. Do not expect this to handle large drops, stairs, etc. Nothing on the unicycle is designed for that, and honestly if you want to do those things you should not be looking at a 29 inch in the first place. Pick up a 800 dollar Kris Holmes muni.

Summary: This unicycle excells at doing what its designed to do, and that is being a very comfortable and reliable cruiser that is maneuverable, fun, and fast. Treat it right and it will last you forever.
To me this is a bargain unicycle!

To me this is a bargain unicycle!

I did have issue with the seat. It was too curved for me, but fixed it. I've ridden it daily and logged many miles without issue after flattening the saddle. Most spent time on it is about 45 minutes straight.

If you find the saddle too curved-
a. remove the seat
b. clamp it past the desired flatness point
c. subjected it to external heat to enforce the desired flatness
d. let it sit clamped overnight

Below attached photos-
a. Original seat curve
b. The fix- Clamped the seat to slightly beyond desired flatness. Then treated it with external heat. Then let it sit clamped overnight.

Great cycle. I'm 56 and ride 2 or 3 miles a day to lunch. While other folks in the office get fat and stiff . It's like a Cadillac compared to my 24 and 26 inch unicycles..it's fast. I don't recomend it for hills, because bigger wheel has less leverage.
