Low output, rattles and stinks....................

With Broan being a household name, I expected more and was willing to pay more but was seriously let down. This heater is built like a brick on the outside but the inside is another story. The stench from this thing is unbearable, even after running for more than 6 hours it still stinks and there is an ongoing rattle coming from inside. The low heat setting is supposed to be 1200 watts but I have cheap heater that is rated at 750 watts (on low) and it puts out more heat than this thing @ 1200 watts, and I purchased the cheap heater for $15 and the Broan for $45. Sham on you Broan for putting your name on this piece of garbage. Amazon, this thing is coming back.

Item is exactly as described. I appreciate the two heat settings and the thermostat works quite well. Using this in a small office (100 square feet) with a large insulated window. Using the thermostat and the low heat setting the unit came on for about 3 minutes each hour. Surrounding rooms dropped to about 60 degrees but the office stayed very comfortable. Much more efficient than heating the whole house for those work at home days in the winter.
