When the science diet dog food my 15 year old miniature poodle had eaten for 8 years stopped being made, we tried a bunch of other brands, including fresh delivery ones, but couldn't find something she would eat. My little dog has Cushing Disease and was not eating well, even though she was starving all the time. I took her off the really expensive the Vet was selling me and changed to Newmans Own. She is eating the food well and is getting more active. All organic has made a big difference in her and my life. I know that grain free and organic is the best way to take core of your pet. There is no cure for Cushings, but this food will give her more time and more comfort.

My dog, in her old age, will only eat her dry food with this specific food and flavor mixed in, so it's been a life saver. I do wish, with it being organic, that only organic ingredients were used and that they excluded the controversial ingredient carageenan. But, unfortunately with her newfound pickyness, I have to give her what workhl works.

My two doggies love it - we add a spoonful to their kibble, along with water to make a nice gravy. I can't really guarantee that the flavor is great, since I don't taste it, but it smells pretty good, and my dogs gobble it up with great enthusiasm. And it's organic.
