GOOD LITTLE BOOTH

I got mine new in box. Materials seem of good quality. Assembly was simple enough. Had to slightly loosen 4 screws on fan cover in order to attach the extension adaptor. I ran the extension out the window and ran the unit for 30 minutes. starting and stopping it twice. LED lighting is good. Exhaust is good ( tested with smoke and then with acrylic paint thinner on paper towel). I noted that the AC adaptor was warmer than I would have liked after the 30 minute run. That's why I rated it a 4. The booth is smaller than I thought it was based on the picture. About 16" left to right and 12" tall and 12" deep. Okay for HO scale locomotives. It does have a turntable what will be useful.

Bought it and it arrived on time. So far everything is great, the only complain I can have is that the tube can be a bit longer and less rigid. It sort of come off easily if you try to bend it around.

After using it for a while, the fact that the hose is only 5 feet long makes everything a pain, since you cant even put this thing on a table and leave hose out of the balcony, its just too short!! I would have to get my own hose and modify the connector

Great for airbrushing indoors

Been using this for a couple months now since I got my airbrush. Love how it allows me to airbrush inside without getting paint everywhere. The fan on it is about as loud as my air compressor, and does a great job of pulling the paint particles out of the air and out the window, (or in my case into a filtered bucket since it's too cold to have the window open)
It's very easy to setup and take down. Definitely would recommend this to anyone with an airbrush.

This is a great item. What I like most is that it folds up very easyinto a rectangle shape for storing in a closed shelf. It's about the same noise level as a vaccum but not as loud as a shop vac. I also got the tubing for the solvent based paints I use. Know that the end of the tube most go out a window. It comes with a base that spins to place your items that you are airbrushing on which was a nice surprise. The airfiler is a simple blue mesh filter that can easily be replaced. I will just use some left over mesh fish filter once it needs replacing. It's made out of plastic and very sterdy. For lights I use a daylight desklamp 65k bulb. I do that as it's the closest to natually.....daylight....as the bulb states and not yellow in color like most incandescent bulbs. The longest I've used it for is about 4 hours straight and my ears were ringing, next time I'm using foam earplugs. I'm very happy with the price and quality of this product
Great small unit for the price

I was hesitant to buy this thing or to just build my own. The problem with what is available on the market for the hobby size spray boot is that it's either affordable or way over priced. This thing works well, folds up small and is priced right. I would have taken a 1/2 star off for its small size as I would have preferred something about 6 inches wider but to get that the cost jumps dramatically.
If you are a DIYer and feel you can build a better one yourself you probably can but if you factor in the cost of material and your time the price for this unit can't be beat.
I could not find the option to add lights to this unit so I added my own self adhesive LED strips, I highly recommend doing this if you plan to put this in an area that doesn't have direct lighting. The hood, although somewhat transparent, does filter quite a bit of light.
