I will always use Motrin over other meds as it works faster than everything else I've tried. My house has to have 2 boxes on hand in the event my lil one gets sick or teething etc.

We've been using the children's motrin a couple times a month when our daughter's teething issues start to interrupt her sleep. She is around 10 months and 20 lbs now, and we started using it when she was 6 months old. I would prefer to avoid using medications completely, but this has been a lifesaver the few times she has needed it. We prefer it slightly to acetaminophen, as it seems to work better. We are VERY careful to to check the dosage every time. We have a handy chart from our pediatrician that lists the correct dosage by baby's weight that we keep on the fridge. Parents, please note that the dosage is very different depending on the brand and formulation - so always double check especially when you're tired and you have crying baby.

When your kid is sick, or teething, or otherwise not right, sometimes this is just the best way to help them feel better. My kid loves the taste, so no hassle to get him to take his medicine. Simple measuring. I love that this lasts longer than Acetaminophen (Tylenol). When you really need to give your kid relief, I was told by the pediatrician that this Motrin and the acetaminophen can be staggered to provide continuous relief. It's worked for us for our two boys.
