I love it! Its very well made and my guitar fits perfectly! It has nice large pockets on it to store all my gear. Stromg zippers that move smoothly. I would definitely or again.

It's about as average as a guitar case comes. Deluxe is because of zippered pouches. NOT for extra padding or security. Okay as a dust cover. Would not transport in this.

Fits my Charvel DC-2 perfectly! I thought the bag might be too narrow, but its not.

The Charvel 299-1514-006 Deluxe Universal Gig Bag has 20mm padding all around (front/back/sides), several pockets on the front of the case that are pretty useful, padded shoulder straps with a carry handle built in on the back and it sports a beautiful embroidered Charvel logo on the largest pocket in the front. It is also well made and could likely handle the rigors of daily or weekly transport such as for gigging or school, though I hesitate to classify it as a heavy duty gig bag. This case offers decent protection for your guitar, though not as much as a hard case would.

There are cheaper alternatives such as the less expensive Charvel Traditional Padded Gig Bag with Accessory Carry Pouch. This is a pretty standard padded gig bag with 20mm of padding. On the front of the bag are 3 zippered pockets and a Charvel "Made in USA" badge. On the back you have padded shoulder straps with light metal hardware and a canvas carry handle halfway up the neck for carrying the bag upright (I find these useful, though they are usually on the front of the case). While the gig bag is well made, it is a standard duty bag meaning it'll be good for storing the guitar or moving around the home, or even for the occasional trip outside the house. It would be hard pressed to last in a situation where a heavy duty bag would be indicated (such as weekly gigging, or carrying around school, etc).

While it looks the same on the outside, the Charvel 299-1414-006 Standard Universal Guitar Gig Bag is only light canvas with no padding at all. And with a somewhat open shape the guitar is free to flop around inside the unpadded interior of the bag, making that bag useful only as a dust cover or for the very rare trip as there is very little protection for the guitar inside. I wouldn't recommend the "Charvel 299-1414-006 Standard Universal Guitar Gig Bag" to anyone, especially for the price!

If you want an official Charvel logo'd gig bag for your Charvel guitar, Charvel Traditional Padded Gig Bag with Accessory Carry Pouch is a good choice for the price and I can highly recommend it in place the lackluster "Charvel 299-1414-006 Standard Universal Guitar Gig Bag", and as a less expensive alternative to the Charvel 299-1514-006 Deluxe Universal Gig Bag, which also a good choice.

Been wanting to know the specs on this bag for awhile. No one, including Charvel/Fender would answer my query. Found this from Chopper's Music: "The Charvel® Deluxe Gig Bag comes in two options: one for the Star and one multi-fit bag designed to fit the Pro-Mods, Single Cutaway, Double Cutaway, Skatecaster, and Soloist models. Features include water resistant polyester, 600 denier exterior with 25mm thick premium foam internal padding, three large outer pockets and includes padded backpack style shoulder straps." I'm guessing it has no neck support, though 25mm is way better than most, and it is a sharp looking case. I have a Charvel DS-2 ST and I'm holding out for 30mm and neck support for my guitar.
