Very good machete very strong.. Cut down a dead tree bout 3 in wide and 15 ft tall.. Did not put a dent in the blade.. Way better than the gerber I bough!! This thing is really touch and after running it through a sharpening stone it was razer sharp... This blade is made out of carbon and keeps the blade very good condition

Great Machete for the price. I knew the dimensions going in. It is decently balanced and it was sharp when it arrived.

My first machete and I like it. Purchased as a tool to help in the yard. It wasn't very sharp when I received it but I also purchased the sharpening tool so its good and sharp now. Also it didn't come with the protective sheath, had to buy that separately but that was ok. I'm happy with the purchase and recommend the product. Much heavier than it looks and well made. I've always wanted one after reading the Zombie Survival Guide, so if it ever comes, I'm ready.

Ontario Knife Company makes great machetes. Just a basic, good blade and tough handle. I've used them for years, never had a handle break. For me, the factory edge is not quite up to par, but machetes get dull when you use them, so they will need regular sharpening anyway. The factory edge is a little blunt as opposed to a knife edge, so I simply sharpened it as soon as I got it.
