Installation was a pain but when done it is great

If you read the directions or watch the video installing this thing is a pain in the ass. They show a simple grab and twist on the float and you can adjust it up and down. However for me any time I tried to turn it it rotated the entire thing. I gave up adjusting the float. The second piece was not so clear but I tried installing without pulling it apart and the thing just didn't seat well. So I watched the video on YouTube. They took the camera off the product when they were adjusting the float. AGHHGYHUJYHJH But I could see how they separtated the other part. After pulling it apart I was able to push it down more, get it seated, and get it working. The flush handle isn't as great as they suggest, but as long as I can flush the toilet I'm happy. And there is no flapper or physical connection that can go bad.

I installed this. It's *mostly* good.
But - there are some clearance-related caveats, and a couple places where the instructions are just straight-up bad.
The two main gotchas - one, you have to make sure that you're not going to be kinking your lines or that when you install the handle valve (the plastic box that installs inside the tank attached to the handle) that you're not going to run into anything). Two, the instructions are needlessly vague about which lines attach where on the handle.
Install took me about 30-40 minutes. A not-inconsiderable part of that was getting it tuned when done.
When all is said and done, though, one of the chief problems this solves for me is the tank running (which besides wasting water is also kinda expensive).
I've only had it in use for a couple months, but it's in a heavy-used AirBNB and there have been no complaints at all about it. I'll probably start putting these in other bathrooms if it lasts to six months.
