I admit that I don't love the scent of this disinfectant. It isn't too bad, but it's just not my jam. Maybe I need to dilute it a little more. I do love that this is safe to use around animals (although I try to keep them away from it when surfaces are still wet, I'm not so worried if they do come into contact with it compared to others). This is an approved disinfectant by the Fear Free Pets certification program and that's another reason I chose this disinfectant. I wish the concentrate had the 1 minute contact time like the pre-made as it would be a much better value, but 5 minutes isn't too bad.

This product is used at the Humane Society were I volunteer. They also use the REScue wipes.
I first purchased the product for home use when my cat had ringworm. It really helped with disinfecting the surfaces in my home. Even though it says it is for nonporous surfaces, I sprayed bedding and clothing with REScue before washing.
My only complaint is even though the bottle has a seal inside the top it leaked and the bottle was wet when it arrived. Don't know how much liquid was lost.

I am convinced that Rescue is the best disinfectant for feline fostering. It is safer than bleach, has never damaged my surfaces and I trust that it really works. The odor is somewhat musty, but that fades quickly and is better than a sweet scent. Use gloves and ventilation.
