great product
Doesn't work well as a glove clip...because it isn't

When I first received this item, it definitely looked heavy duty. So much so, that it was dificult to use. The opening is hardly wide enough to clip on to anything but lightweight gloves, and the mechanism is so ridgid that it surely doesn't feel like it was designed for frequent use.
After searching for clips a bit more, I noticed that these were nothing more than your average "Tarp Clips" with a cheap carabiner installed. While that wouldn't be an issue if it worked properly, it doesn't. No glove needs so much tension to keep them attached, and it will damage most gloves if you tighten it as much as you can. At least those you can fit to begin with. I'm sure tarp fabric fits fine, but the cuffs of some leather gloves is both thicker and more delicate.
The other issue is that the mechanism isn't the easiest to control one handed hanging from your belt. I'm simply using them to hang my different motorcycle gloves next to my gear, so that isn't really the issue, but with that carabiner attached I can only assume it's supposed to be used on ones person, or at least in a highly portable manner. And used in that way, I hardly see the point of using something that grips so strong and is so hard to use one handed.
At this point, you can either keep this, knowing it's an overpriced tarp clip, or you can simply search around this great big site for "Tarp Clip Carabiner", and you'd find basically the same thing much cheaper. I'm just going to return this and buy a cheaper 12 units for 10$ pack, and at least that way I have spares, plus tarps clips. If it doesn't work great, at least it will work cheap.
