terribly....unless of-cause you are some kind of a genius in puzzles, but for us average human beings, you will NEVER figure this one out, putting this one together, Auch... what a disappointment, the instructions are terribly..

I bought this for my Mom as a birthday present, and she loves it. I had to go to youtube to find a video showing how to assemble it since the instructions weren't all that clear, there is one with a man assembling a round luvalamp in white and purple/magenta which was very helpful. There is also a video on youtube showing how to insert the light and fasten the cord.

My one fault with this lamp is that the switch is closer to the end with the lamp than it is to the end with the plug which sort of makes it difficult to install as a pendant light because of the position of the switch.

I bought this after seeing it on another side and am glad I did. This is definitely very different from the usual lamps in stores like Walmart or Target and more affordable than anything in a high end store.

I bought the kit and it came with all the pieces and a cord with an in-line switch. The cord is fairly lengthy, approx 9 feet. The pieces all feel like they can take quite a bit of abuse so you can take the design apart and make a different one.

The included instructions are not the easiest to follow but I had already seen videos on YouTube with a few having some pretty good tips on how to put them together for the basic globe, which I what I assume most people would do. The instructions do show there are plenty of other designs you can do but I will stick with the sphere for now.

One of the most important pieces of info I got in one video was to remember to hook dog leg to dog leg and straight to straight. If you keep that piece of info in mind it will make future assemblies much easier.

I have a color changing 5W LED bulb in it and it is good enough to light up the room to where I can see everything around me but definitely not bright enough to read by. Perfect to watch TV, meditate or fall asleep to. It makes a great light to turn on late at night when I get up to use the bathroom and don't want to turn on a bright lamp.

Kudos for the product. I read that this was actually invented by a dutchman back in 1972 and was selling for $300! Glad it has REALLY come down since then.

Everyone who sees my lamp shade loves it. I have it hanging in my screened-in patio and it casts a light that's bright enough to see textbooks and laptops, but is diffuse enough not to be annoying. I put a bright, water-resistant fluorescent bulb in it. It's pricey - about $15 locally - but the bulb will last years and not create too much heat to melt the plastic. Little bugs do get inside the lamp shade, but at the end of the season, I'll be able to disassemble the lamp, wash the pieces, and store the whole thing flat.

Assembly wasn't too difficult, but there are videos online if anyone becomes confused during the process.

I love this purchase. It's unique, stylish, functional, and reasonably priced. I recommend this lampshade to everyone who sees it and I would buy it again if something damaged the one I own.

Instructions aren't in English, but if you follow the pictures, you can figure it out easy enough. Looks great as a replacement shade on a tall standing light that the bowl shade had broken.
