Great bike trailer

We LOVE this co-pilot. My 4 year old can already ride a 2 wheel bike on her own since a few years now, but those tiny little bikes with 1 gear have a hard time on the hills in our neighborhood. This bike trailer has been amazing for longer rides and just riding around on the hills around the house. She fits on this trailer perfectly (though she is tall for her age), and said that it was comfy and wanted to bike loops around the house. I use it behind a mountain bike, which is nice because I can downshift my gears to help get us up the hills without having to standup to pedal. There is definitively the extra weight behind and if she leans too much it takes some work to keep us upright, but it works well for us and when she pedals you can really feel her helping us get up the hill. I like that both the seat and handlebars are adjustable, which means we should be able to enjoy this trailer for a few years. I also love that it has a big tall flag, so I am less worried about a car not seeing us or especially her. Overall, we are really happy with this trailer and love that it is much more affordable that any we found at REI or other sporting good stores. Though theirs have different gears and are a bit of a different product, we just wanted something simple and more affordable and are happy to have found this trailer.
Don't hesitate - you will love this "tandem" trailer bike!

Wow! We could not be happier with this purchase. Our 3.5 year old (46" & 47lbs) daughter has outgrown the bike trailer (that has served us very well since she was a baby) and is in no way ready to ride her own bike. She has a tricycle, but currently she doesn't have the coordination to petal or keep the wheel pointed where she wants to go. I was a little hesitant to buy this "tandem" trailer bike because I was worried she wasn't ready for it. I was concerned that she would slip off the petals and fall off the bike. But seeing no other options, I decided to give it a shot- I figured if she isn't ready for it now, she likely will be soon. It arrived yesterday and my husband took about 45 minutes putting it together and getting it properly attached to his bike. After some talking about bike safety, naming the parts of the bike, and talking about how it worked we did about 5 minutes of stationary training, which also served to get her properly fitted and comfortable. My husband lowered the seat a little and tilted it forward and brought the handle bars back (and then out a little again) The process was very simple and straight forward, and the included slim multi-tool was very convenient and will go into our bike kit for adjustments as she grows. We took it on our first ride this afternoon and it went great. I coached her from my bike, her feet did slip off the petals a few times and she did wobble a little here and there, but I just reminded her to keep her toes pointed forward and keep her head up and she did great. We rode for about 20 minutes and she wants to go again tomorrow! A few negative things... The decals are cheap and a little wrinkly, not that I care about that. It doesn't fit on our bike rack, but it does fold in half and fit easily in the trunk, although I do wish if locked closed when folded to make it easier to transport. The flag is hard to remove if you tighten the screws, so they have to be loosen during transportation, which increases the possibility of them falling out, it's a minor detail that I think could have been better resolved by the designer. As I said, we only received the bike yesterday so I can't speak to it's durability, but it seems solidly built and we are very happy with it.
My 4-year old love riding with us!

Works GREAT! Very, very happy with this purchase! Easy to put together, easy to install to the bike, and it was an easy thing to configure for the little guy.

At first, the handle bars were too far away (my son is and average sized 4 year old). I turned the handle bar stem mount around (it works just like they do on a bike), and re-attached the handlebar to the stem, and that did the trick.

He loves it, and really likes being able to help pedal. We've gone on several family bike rides, and it already has proven itself to be a successful purchase.

We are very happy with the quality, durability, and usefulness. I am very glad to say that I can fully recommend this without any reservations.
Awesome and excellent attachment for the little ones to ride with mom and dad and get some exercise. You can't go wrong.

Works great, took only one ride and my 4 year old loves it.We bought an extra attachment so we can quickly change from moms to dads bike. No problems turning as the bike moves and swings with the lead bike. I have this and the weeride so I can easily ride around with my 1.5 year old sitting in front of me and my 4 year old in back.
I like that it folds up as well so it minimizes the space in the the garage.
It took about 15 minutes to install the post mount and bike with minor adjustments to the handles bars and chain guard.
We also added a bell to the handle bars that took 2 minutes.
The only problem I had was the pedal unscrewed once on the ride because my son was back pedalling. Even after making it tight again it came loose, a couple of dabs of locktite or crazy on the threads solved the problem.
Perfect for kids with a two-wheeler aversion!

We have been struggling with getting our 6 year old to ride a "big girl" bike and the WeeRide has been the answer we were looking for. My daughter has gained confidence on a two-wheeler, and we can go on family bike rides again. We constantly have people asking where we got this, or marveling at it as we ride by.
The one issue we have is that the chain constantly vibrates against the chain cover (what is the technical term?) and makes a sort of screeching sound that a new bike shouldn't really have. Otherwise, this thing is amazing.
