Recently used this tracking a doe in the dark over autumn leaf fall. The blood shone bright red and I would not have been able to find the deer without it. Much recommended.

I think mine is defective because there have been a lot of other users with postive reviews. However though mine did not illuminate blood as described in very low light or darkness. On a side note this is a very bright light and did a great job as a flash light.
