This bulkhead was used to make a swirl tank for an aquaponics system. It was easy to install with a simple hole saw, but make sure you use the right sized saw. A good guide is at [...]
Use a small bit of liquid soap to lubricate the PVC pipe before inserting it through the seal. Dr. Bronner's worked well for me. Pushing the pipe through does require a bit of force, but it ensures a tight seal. This was much cheaper than using a traditional screw-type bulkhead.

UNISeals are fantastic. I have been using them in my round drums for my pond filter applications. Easy to use, reusable, and keeps a tight seal. A+
Good price and quality.

Worked great for a drain installation into a sump. i needed to install a working drain system quickly in a rehab house. The drain, for a utility room, is permanent. The sump (below sewer grade) is not. so not having time to dig the pit I used this to stab 2 inch pvc into the bottom of composite sump barrel sitting on floor. A 3 inch hole saw, some silicone plumber grease was all I needed.
Looking carefully, saw no flash or mold part lines to allow seep. Sure enough, there was none
