Super comfy true to size costume. Got this for my 14 year old and he loved it

This was a great costume. I found out at the last minute that my sisters where dressing as Thing 1 and Thing 2 for a family party, so decided to go with this. Fabric is fairly good quality. The hat is made of a thin, but sturdy felt. Mine stood up easily, but I can see where someone might have trouble. I didn't have time to iron the hat, but I definitely would have since it ships flat and came with lots of folds.
I especially like that I got it on sale, don't know that I would spend over $50 for a costume.
BTW, I'm 5'6", 210 lbs and it fit very nicely. Had some play in the legs, but the sleeves were just right for me. So if you're taller be aware.
Overall I'm very pleased and look forward to sharing it among the family for at least several years.

It was a huge hit with the kids in the classrooms. The hat was made very well and sturdy. The tail was so long I kept stepping on it. The tail also was removable because it had Velcro to attach it. I only gave it 4 stars because I felt the price was too high for the overall costume quality.

I bought this for my 8 year old son (even though it was a man's size). When I ordered this, they didn't have any in my son's size so I decided to go bigger. I ordered it very close to Dr. Seuss day and it wasn't supposed to arrive until after but was pleasantly surprised that it came two days after I ordered it and it was here two days before Dr. Seuss Day!!! It was big on my son (which I expected) but I just taped the legs up. He looked so cute!!!! My youngest will be in kindergarten with my older two next year and my daughter will be in fifth grade and they have decided that she will use this costume next year and be the Cat In The Hat, my son will be Thing One, and my youngest daughter will be Thing two. Also, I think I may be The Cat In The Hat for Halloween or for our Summerween party this summer.

We will definitely get our money's worth out of this!

I am 5'1" and size 10 and the costume had plenty of length and fit around me easily. (I got a small.) My only issue was the hat. It was made of felt and didn't have any sort of a rigid "rim" around the brim of the hat, so I couldn't keep the edges from sicking up. You can kind of see it in the picture of the man wearing it in the ad. I tried a couple of things to fix it and they didn't work, so it looked a little funky. I would either buy a better hat or put a rigid rim around it to keep the edges down. I purchased 2 costumes & both had this issue.
