Well designed for transporting. Super sturdy. Heats up fast. But, not much control over the heat - so watch you don't burn your steaks! Not good for slow cooking.
Like most gas grills, it doesn't impart any smokey flavor. I prefer charcoal grills, but those are not allowed in my apartment complex. I may try wood chips next time I grill.

Great little grill, bought for our rv however it came with the regulator reversed. Instead of contacting Amazon I contacted char broil, and although promised a replacement regulator received a run around for 2 weeks... now corrected however, I will deal directly with amazon customer service in the future. Mch better service

I have been cooking on this for 2 years now every time we go out in the motorhome. Cooks great. Does run a little hot(better than not getting hot enough). I just open the top if it is cooking something too fast like chicken. Cooks steaks the best. Puts a good sear on them.
