I LOVE this product!! I first became a fan of PRECIOUS when it was sold on QVC. This product is effective about 95% of the time; however, if the tarnish is quite heavy, one needs to use a polishing cloth or a cream tarnish remover with a VERY SOFT BRUSH like a very soft toothbrush. Actually, I don't need to go the extra mile to remove any tarnish because I use PRECIOUS just as soon as I see a hint of tarnish so that removing tarnish with PRECIOUS is not ever a problem. I tell everyone about it, and at first, they might be doubtful but they are true fans once they use it on a regular basis.

I've been using this spray for several years to quickly clean all of my jewelry since it takes just seconds to do the job. All that's needed after that is rinsing and drying with a soft cloth.
When I make use of it, though, I am conscious of the fact that pearls, opals, etc do need to be cleaned with care and I would not take a chance of using it on my individually-knotted strings of pearls.
But for normal use it's so convenient that I can do just one or two pieces at a time when I don't have time or energy to spare.
