This is a really nice sized bat house. The size and shape are what I desired and the price was really good. I do question one thing, and that is the holes on the side of the box; since the box is 3 chambers wouldn't they server better if they were angled so that 1 hole aligned to each chamber? Everything else looks good: grooves at the base for landing, mesh lines one surface in each chamber, good wood and arrived in great condition. I plan to personalize it a bit by staining it, putting a graphic on the front, and possibly attaching some roofing shingles to the top before I attach it to the side of my house. I know little brown bats already live behind my shutters in the summer, I hope this will entice them to move in. I'm assuming it will need to season a while before they do, but more will be welcomed here.

I have several Houses that Hold 300+ bats . This one is not near the size of those Houses .The inside chamber wood is much to thin and it is going to warp its just going to. My Screen inside was curled up blocking the entrance but can be replaced or repaired .
All that being said its a nice looking small Bats house and should work fine . I give around 70.00 for my other bat Houses U Get what U Pay for .

Nice bat house. We installed it on a 16ft homemade post on my mother's few acre lot away from trees & electrical lines and where morning sun is plentiful. Hopefully by next year we will have bats.

Bought it last year and installed it on a tall post facing the appropriate direction, South East, away from trees and forgot about it until today. Went out and heard some noise, got a flashlight and it was loaded with bats. At sunset many, many bats came out to eat our bugs. Construction seems solid. Cedar point eces are cut to fit well but aren't exactly flush. It's easy to remove the front two pieces to add staples for additional support to the nylon mesh. Mesh is only provided for one wall of each chamber.
