Good helmet, but marker is hard to get off.

All of those reviews saying that the marker rubs off too easily? Uh, ignore them. They must be messing with the helmet before the marker has dried or something, because I came back on Amazon to read reviews about how to get the marker off the helmet. I have the problem where designs drawn on there a few months ago now won't come off. Tried an eraser, tried wet paper towel... the marker is seriously stuck on there. The helmet itself is built well and I'd buy it again, but you can disregard many negative reviews and chalk those up to parents/kids who aren't patient enough to let the helmet marker dry.
Great for your little artist, or your kid who can't decide which helmet they like best (Have them all, if you can draw it!)

My son loves this helmet. It's great for a kid who loves to draw, or a kid whose interests change constantly. Likes Hulk one day, than Star Wars the next day? Great, let's re-draw your helmet. My only complaint is that my son has just turned 5 and I had to remove some of the padding for the helmet to fit him correctly. I think he has a pretty average sized head for his age, so I was disappointed that it didn't fit him with the padding intact since it states it's for ages 5+, I expected it to be a little big and he could wear it for a couple years.

Got this from the Amazon Warehouse for under $9 in like new condition - which is awesome vs the normal $25+ in stores.
It's a typical bike/skater helmet with a twist - you can use dry erase markers to decorate it.
