Cuts rings as expected

Did what it was designed to do. It cut through all three of my bands which were soldered together without any signs of strain or breakage of the cutter. Perhaps other reviewers who experienced failure or breakage were attempting to cut through heavier metals such as high grade titanium or tungsten. I would caution that the cutter and ring may heat due to friction so it might be advisable to pause frequently to allow cooling and perhaps even have a glass or bowl of cold water on hand in order to avoid hurting injury to your finger (and as you are using a ring cutter I am assuming re finger isn't in perfect shape to begin with). I also found that it was best to make cuts on opposite-ish sides of the ring so that you can just disconnect it rather than having to twist or mutilate your ring or finger. Also if you have a ring that has been stuck on for a while (mine had been stuck for more than a year since the arthritic swelling had come on rapidly) you may also want to be mindful that the skin under the ring may have some break down and need to be handled with extra care as you remove the ring. It might also be wise to have some simple first aid such as neosporin / antibiotic ointment on hand as well. Best of luck.
